Julie Graff is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources with over 25-years of progressive human resources and business management experience over multiple disciplines and industries. Her areas of expertise are developing out inclusive programs, HR law, coaching, development and project management. Over this period, she has successfully headed dozens of new program initiatives, multiple project management teams and mentored others toward completion of their own goals. She works with Managers needing to refresh and discover new ways to integrate diversity training into their daily lives. With her expertise, she has trained others to identify the group's scope for diversity and underrepresentation training, review and plan different aspects of the project and finally, identify the steps to implement a working plan. Underrepresentation and protected group training include personnel that are elderly, disabled, minorities/race, religion, veterans, gender and sexual orientation.
While with Asia Alternatives Management LLC in San Francisco, she headed global HR for over nine years reporting and working with the CFO & CEO to analyze, develop and implement firm-wide diverse HR strategy including employee satisfaction & retention, professional coaching & development, compensation & recruiting strategies and employee relations coaching for mangers & front-line employees. She sourced, implemented and managed all HRIS, created written procedures and communicated all policy for fast-growing offices in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Beijing & Shanghai. In the area of recruiting she created a recruiting management system from job descriptions, applicant tracking, offer letters, vendor management and new hire onboarding with a 20% employee headcount increase per year. Emphasis on diversity. She also led insurance, compliance and benefits for employees across the world.
Prior to that position she worked as a multi-divisional Welfare Plan Administrator and Benefits Administrator (CA & NY). She was the decision maker for annual renewal of Health, Dental, Vision, LTD, Life, AD&D and Travel Accident Insurance Plans. Julie also created a Profit Sharing, & 401(k) plan’s design, establishing new co-fiduciary, summary plan description and annual employee education meetings. Julie led recruiting efforts and transparent compensation plans. Julie attended the University of California at San Diego, Bachelor of Arts in Evolutionary Biology, Senior Professional in Human Resources Certified (SPHR), Master of Business Administration – Including specialization in Organizational Development, Diversity, Finance and Management. Her relevant experience includes annual continuing education seminars, including labor law, diversity and personnel management., Northern California & National Human Resources Association Member (SHRM), Board member in education, recreation, fundraising and diversity.
