Jen Sheringham, Ed.D holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership focusing on chaos theory and military response during emergencies. Her publications include In Combat Condition; Crisis, Chaos, and Coaching Champions; and Stress, The Modern Evil-Coaching, The Modern Slayer. Jen reached 20 years of military service in 2021, and during her tenure assumed command four times and specializes in logistics and emergency response operations at the state and federal levels. She is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy towards helping people during crises. In 2021, Jen deployed to support Operation Allies Welcome leading efforts amongst female engagement teams as the central Program Analyst specializing in civil knowledge integration.  She leveraged her research expertise to analyze, optimize and improve interagency, civil society and private industry collaboration to solve complex problems through sex disaggregated data capture and trend analysis. Her efforts led to appropriate responses and reduced resource outlay. In addition to working directly with the Gender Advisor/Command Action Group Officer in Charge, she led efforts for moral, welfare and recreation events for both refugees and soldiers ensuring their physical and mental health needs were considered during an international pandemic.  Jen continues to develop herself as a military officer and private citizen ensuring that those most affected by conflict and crisis are part of the conversation shaping data, avoiding blind spots and producing positive outcomes.
