Jasper James

Mx. Jasper James is a multifaceted diversity subject matter expert who leads through service. Jasper co-authored the first ever Black Bill of Rights in collaboration with activists, lawyers, policymakers and families who have lost loved ones at the hand of police across the nation. This platform integrates feedback and expertise and identifies ongoing legislation and community solutions that will end the perpetual undermining of constitutional rights and protection in all forms for Black and Brown people nationwide.

As the co-founder of Activism Articulated, a public relations firm, they are one of the only advocacy communications firms run by queer, mixed-race women of color. They provide media training and crisis consulting for organizations nationwide. They founded an active Facebook group for Allies of Black Lives Matter with thousands of followers and is dedicated to discussion and education centered on racial justice.

Jasper has been a DEI consultant for the 2020 Mike Bloomberg Presidential Campaign, to the current commitment to community (a board member of the ACLU Sacramento Chapter Board, Sacramento Stonewall Democratic Club (PAC) and the Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce). Jasper is a digital campaign rapid response strategist with strong public relations and project management skills. Jasper holds a degree in Audio Engineering and Holistic Theology.
