Desirée Patno is the CEO & President of Women in the Housing & Real Estate Ecosystem (NAWRB) and Desirée Patno Enterprises, Inc. (DPE), Advisor for AmicusBrain—AI for Aging Population, CSO for ZuluTime, Publisher and a National Speaker. With three decades specializing in the Housing & Real Estate Ecosystem and owning her own successful brokerage, she leads her executive team’s expertise of Social Impact, Gender Equality and Access to Capital, and provides personalized advisory services to various communities.

As Chairwoman of NAWRB’s Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Council (NDILC), she oversees the Council’s efforts to raise the number of women leaders and grow women’s employment and empowerment at all levels in the housing ecosystem. NAWRB has raised awareness of diverse opportunities, supporting the development and implementation of workforce and supplier diversity standards for the multi-trillion-dollar housing sector since 2010.

With the annual Women Housing Ecosystem Report (WHER), NAWRB is combining the resources and expertise of key players in the economic ecosystem to build a dynamic resource platform for future generations. The NAWRB 2019 WHER provides the most diverse coverage of the housing ecosystem with over sixty resources and six volumes: Diversity & Inclusion; Homeownership; Women-Owned Businesses; STEM; Aging Population; and Family Offices with a gender lens perspective. Desirée resides on the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Leadership Advisory Council and Enterprising Women Advisory Board. The Council for Inclusion in Financial Services (CIFS) gave Desiree the Trailblazer Award in 2018, which honors influencers whose diversity and inclusion initiatives are transforming the industry and community.

In 2017, she was named the Highest-Ranking Woman and 4th Overall Top Real Estate Influencer to Follow by Entrepreneur.com and presented On the Margins of the 72nd U.N. General Assembly, The Intersection between Gender Diversity, Innovation and Economic Sustainability. In 2016, she was honored with HousingWire’s Women of Influence Award and was selected as the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Women in Business Champion of the Year.

Desiree is the Publisher of NAWRB Magazine—winner of the APEX Award for Publication Excellence in 2015 -2018 and is a monthly contributor to RISMedia’s Real Estate Magazine, National Mortgage Professional Magazine and various industry publications.
